TidyTabs is a tab manager for programs and applications of the Windows operating system. Using TidyTabs, you can create several tabs in the user interface of any program. This is done by a simple drag and drop operation.
After installing TidyTabs on a Windows computer, tabs are automatically added to each window, but they are not displayed. By default, tabs are invisible unless the applications are grouped together. To see this invisible tab, you need to hover over the upper left corner of any window.
In order to group two windows together, you need to drag this tab, while holding it with the left mouse button, onto the tab of another window. Two windows will display tabs and the user can switch from one to another by clicking on these tabs. In the future, it is possible to group more windows in a similar way. Tabs are closed when the program window is closed. To close one tab or all at once, you should right-click on any of them and select the desired closing option.
In the settings for TidyTabs, you can choose the transparency of the tabs of active windows, inactive windows and during mouse hover. You can get into the program settings by right-clicking on the utility icon in the system tray and selecting “Settings”.
TidyTabs can be useful to users who work with a large number of open windows on the desktop. Its main task is ease of use and increased productivity.
