Snappy Driver Installer R1811 | Driverpack 19.03.4 Free Download

Snappy Driver Installer (SDI) is a portable program for installing and updating drivers that does not require an internet connection. Is a rework of the original SDIO program from Glenn Delahoy. As well as SDIO, it is the leader among the programs of this class in the accuracy of driver selection and speed. When ranking drivers, gives priority to more appropriate drivers (regardless of the availability of newer versions) in order to minimize risks for ordinary users. Specialists can evaluate a large amount of information issued about drivers and the ability to choose an alternative driver.
System requirements:
Windows 2000 | XP | Vista | 7 | 8 | 8.1 | 10
File size : 14.6 GB
The main features of SDI :
Programming language: C / C ++.
The most advanced algorithm for selecting drivers among analogues.
The program "weighs" about 4 megabytes (both versions) and does not require any third-party programs / libraries.
High performance when indexing, searching for drivers, installation.
Support for working with unpacked drivers.
Creating snapshots of the system, allowing to emulate someone else's system on another PC.
Warnings about possible attempts of viruses to infect a flash drive with the program.
Ability to update the program and device through the Internet (torrent technology).
How is this release different from SamDrivers?
This distribution is based on the SamDrivers collection   with the following differences:
There is no third-party software.
There are no other programs for installing drivers.
Both SDI versions  - 32-bit and 64-bit are included  .
Distribution is made in the form of a folder, not a .iso-image, which allows you to choose the drivers for downloading.
Distribution is updated with each release of driverpack, and not once a month.

How to backup drivers?
Before creating a backup, you need to install all the necessary drivers to make sure that they work.
Enable expert mode.
Put a check in the line "Current version".
Click the "Select All" button.
Click on the line "Unpack to ..." and specify the folder to create a backup.
Note:  Since the drivers for the backup copy are taken directly from the driverpacks, because copying the installed drivers cannot be correct due to the absence / deletion of some files needed for installation, in addition to the specific drivers, the program will unpack some others. You should not be surprised by files that are not directly related to a specific driver.
Startup keys from the command line and other keys for working with the program
A complete list of keys can be viewed at the following link:  https://sdi-tool.org/settings/
Different utility in working with the program that you need to know
A click on the driver panel sets / clears the checkbox.
“Install” button launches installation of selected drivers.
Clicking on the driver panel while holding down the Shift key launches the installation of this driver.
During installation, you can add / exclude drivers for the installation.
Cancel the installation of the driver is possible before its final unpacking.
A click on the general progress bar stops the installation.
Holding the space while hovering the mouse cursor over the driver panel displays a table with all the alternative drivers for this device. The list is sorted from best to less suitable.
Clicking on the double-checkbox icon on the right side of the driver panel reveals a complete list of alternative device drivers.
You can also display alternative drivers using filters in expert mode.
Holding down the Ctrl key while hovering the mouse cursor over the driver displays a hint with a comparison of the installed driver with the one offered for installation. The preferred characteristics are highlighted in green. The lower the driver score, the better it fits.
Right-click on the driver panel opens the context menu.
A click on the “System Information” panel opens the “Device Manager”.
Right-click on the System Information panel opens a context menu in which you can specify a system in the list for which drivers for this equipment configuration will be found / selected.
The program window can be dragged over any part of it.
In case of adding / removing a device, the program will update the list of drivers itself.
If you try to write the file autorun.inf to a USB flash drive, you may receive a warning about a possible virus.
By pressing the F8 key, you can change the display mode for the drivers in the list. One click displays the name of the driver with this driver in the right side of the driver panel. A second click moves the driver name up above the driver / group of drivers. The third press removes the name of dripak. (the same actions are available in the Options dialog box)
Holding the Ctrl key while rotating the mouse wheel allows you to increase / decrease the interface elements in the program window. Pressing Ctrl + 0 returns the size of the interface elements of the program by default. The alternative combination of the Ctrl key and the "+" and "-" keys of the keyboard works in the same way. (the same actions are available in the Options dialog box)
How to reduce the size of SDI
You can remove any driver pack and even not one. According to your needs and needs ...
Usually, there is little demand for server drivers for video cards, for some, drivers under Win XP are irrelevant, for laptops it is often better to install drivers from vendors, etc.
So we look at the info under the spoiler of the  Driverpacks that are part of the distribution  and make our choice.
Ps. The bin file from indexes / SDI can also not be deleted when the driver pack is removed, the weight is scant.
